Vineyards

Our vineyards are our family. We are honoured to observe the evolution of life that surrounds Rotherwood every season as a rebirth takes place on the grape fields. 

Producing wine from a Cool Climate region has not been without its challenge. Each year, our team of viticulturists have to be more observant to small changes that could affect optimum production and quality due to the high altitude climate. 

In 2017, we lost our entire crop due to extreme weather conditions. It was heartbreaking when we had such an impressive, award winning streak the year before. 

In 2018, we came back bigger and better to produce wonderfully elegant wines that are some our finest wines to date and have already gone on to win more Awards. 

In 2019, our harvest was successful and we the flavour of our new varieties were worth the wait.
